raised eyebrow is a community touring Theatre Company based near Scarborough in North Yorkshire. The company was established in 1992, since when it has toured extensively to schools, Arts Centres and other venues across the country. As well as creating scripted and devised performances, the company also specialises in encouraging drama work among young people through drama clubs, Youth Theatres and other community projects.

Our objectives are threefold;

• to introduce high quality theatre to new audiences
• to create a series of workshops and residencies, drama clubs and youth theatre in areas where there is a perceived need
• to provide a dynamic platform for collaboration with freelance artists, including writers, directors, designers and actors.
