Lizi Patch : Artistic Director
Lizi has been a professional director for twelve years. She was a founder member of raised eyebrow. She
trained as a professional actor and soon found work alongside performing as a writer, director and
educationalist. Shows for raised eyebrow include 'Strings' (Secondary School's tour, Derbyshire and
Rotherham), best before: (London Fringe), Silent Night by Steven
Berkoff (London Fringe), Romeo and Juliet (Schools Tour), Forever and Ever and Living With Lady Macbeth by Rob John (Raised Eyebrow
Youth Theatre). Directing for other companies include Cracked by Nicola Baldwin (Y Touring) Macbeth (Albion
Shakespeare Company, National Trust Royal Parks Tour), Running Red (devised, All Change Arts, London) and Play
by Samuel Beckett and The Tempest (UEA Studio, Norwich).
Jonathan Stokes : Associate Director
Jonathan works as a professional actor, educationalist and writer. As an actor he has worked extensively in
theatre (Chester Gateway, The London Bubble, Oddsocks, Rough as Guts) TV (Eastenders, The Brittas Empire), and
in film (Rebecca). Script-writing credits include 'Strings' (raised eyebrow), Weekending (BBC Radio
4), Newsrevue (Canal Cafe Theatre, London) The Cinderella Complex (Raised Eyebrow Youth
Theatre), Lab Rats (Raised Eyebrow Youth Theatre) and a short
play, Pineapple.
David Patch : Administrator and Company Secretary
David gave up a successful job in the City to work in the arts. He currently works as an administrator and
fundraiser for raised eyebrow.
Tom Anderson : Education Consultant
Tom joined raised eyebrow as a core member in 2000. He developed the workshop for the first tour of
Strings and directed the second tour. He works as an actor, director and workshop leader. His acting credits
include work for the National Theatre, The Gate and Chichester Festival Theatre. He is currently working as an
actor with the RSC. He has devised and led workshops for The Barbican Centre, The Education Department of the
National Theatre, Safeground Theatre Company and the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York.
Jess Wild,
Associate
Jess joined raised eyebrow as a workshop facilitator in 1994. Theatre credits include raised
eyebrow ( best before:) and extensive schools touring. She
also made several films for Cromwell Productions (Hamlet & A Tale of Two Cities) and scripted and
announced three short programmes for Radio 2. She now works as a voice and acting coach, and runs
workshops for raised eyebrow and works with their Youth Theatre.
Rebecca Jenkins,
Associate
As an actor, Rebecca has extensive experience of touring theatre with companies including Red Shift (The
Love Child), Oddsocks (Wuthering Heights, Hamlet), Trading Faces (Double Trouble) and The Watermill at
Newbury (Sweeney Todd). She is also an accomplished musician and music teacher, who leads music and drama
workshops with young people and adults. Most recently for raised eyebrow, she co-directed Lab Rats and co-led the Regional Forum workshop on
creative techniques and communication.
